I came across your site in a long and drawn out search for a tattoo design. A bear, specifically. Your story stuck me as very similar, because this will be my first tattoo and my first “me, not society” type adventure in self realization. But it is most odd because I have a bear pendant that I’ve had on for 6ish years, only taking it off to change the string it’s on. Mine is a little less stylized than what I understand of yours, and is divided in two (to represent a puzzle) with a blue stone in the center.
None of this really matters and I don’t know if you’ll actually read this or what you’ll think, but I just wanted to write something down to sort of make the interesting coincidence real. Or something. Anyway, I’ll let you go. Thanks for helping me keep my desire for a tattoo alive,
